What I've Been Up To Lately

For the last couple months the fifth grade students at my school have been practicing the play Romeo and Juliet. I got the part for Lady Capulet who is Juliet’s mother. I have a lot of fun and enjoy watching the other actors act. The performance is on March 15, 2010. It’s getting closer and, the closer it gets the more nervous I am. A couple weeks ago I came down with the flu and strep and a cold. When I went to the doctor's office they didn’t even have to do a strep test. The doctor said that he could see the white pustules on my tonsils; he said I smelled like strep too. AWKWARD!!!

The Bike Ride

This summer we went on a 15 mile bike ride. 2 miles of it were in a dark tunnel.
The 18 inch deep water ditches on both sides made the tunnel really scary. I actually fell into one of the water ditches. It was really cold so I had a wet foot all the way out of the tunnel. It was also really cold in the tunnel so we were freezing all the way through.
I got pretty scratched up so halfway through; when we stopped for lunch I was pooped. It sounded fun when it was over, but not during.

Getting my ears pierced

Here is a picture of me after my ears were pierced on January 24th. I turned 10 years old that day. This is a video of me after my ears were pierced. The tears I was having were tears of pain and tears of joy.
