This summer we went on a 15 mile bike ride. 2 miles of it were in a dark tunnel.
The 18 inch deep water ditches on both sides made the tunnel really scary. I actually fell into one of the water ditches. It was really cold so I had a wet foot all the way out of the tunnel. It was also really cold in the tunnel so we were freezing all the way through.
I got pretty scratched up so halfway through; when we stopped for lunch I was pooped. It sounded fun when it was over, but not during.

Riding in a dark tunnel sounds pretty scary! I am proud of you and your family for making it through...and now you can always talk about it and how much fun it was. Way to go!!
